UF Office of the Ombudsman

The UF Office of the Ombudsman exists to help students resolve problems and conflicts that arise in the course of interacting with the academic establishment.

In cases when problems or conflicts arise, students should discuss them with their instructor, graduate coordinator, department chair or college dean first, and try to resolve any issues at that level. There may be times, however, where the constructive intervention of the UF Ombudsman may be needed or beneficial.
