The University of Florida knows that your well-being plays a major role in your academic, professional and personal success. With this in mind, it provides its graduate students with a number of services that aid you in maintaining a safe, healthy lifestyle and enriching personal life.
The
UF Student Health Care Center
provides medical care and psychological counseling on campus for no or low cost, along with programs and resources about nutrition and exercise for students.
The
UF Dean of Students Office
offers a wide variety of services, programs and resources to help students enhance academic productivity, enrich their extracurricular lives, develop constructive social networks and foster safe, sound student living. It also handles orientation for new students and support for students with special needs or different abilities, in accordance with Americans with Disabilities Act legislation.
The
UF Police Department
maintains campus safety and security, provides emergency-response services and sponsors educational programs on crime prevention, personal safety, traffic and transportation safety, among other issues, in coordination with other local law enforcement, firefighting, paramedic and public safety authorities.
